The future of concrete without corrosion

New generation composite reinforcement for concrete structures with extended lifespan.

About us

We manufacture composite reinforcement on our own pultrusion technologies

FiberoX delivers advanced composite solutions for concrete construction that significantly extend structural lifespan and reduce costs throughout the entire life cycle (LCA). Non-corroding composite reinforcement eliminates the main degradation mechanisms of concrete and ensures long-term durability even in aggressive environments.

FiberoX® is produced in Slovakia on pultrusion technologies protected by utility model. The composite uses premium glass fiber with top alkaline resistance and strength. Combined with our epoxy system, it is a full-fledged replacement for steel reinforcement, not a cheap imitation. We use exclusively European certified raw materials.

We collaborate with designers and structural engineers on sustainable and efficient structural solutions without compromises. Production is open to clients – book a tour of our facilities.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

What is FiberoX® composite reinforcement and what is it made of?

FiberoX® is a composite concrete reinforcement made from glass fiber (GFRP – Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer) impregnated with epoxy resin. It is manufactured using pultrusion technology, which ensures high strength and consistent quality. Unlike steel, it does not corrode, is 4× lighter, and has 2× higher tensile strength.

Why should I use FiberoX® instead of traditional steel reinforcement?

Key advantages over steel: non-corroding (100+ year lifespan), 4× lighter (savings on transport and handling), 2× higher tensile strength, chemically resistant to alkaline concrete environment, non-heat-conducting (eliminates thermal bridges), non-magnetic and electrically non-conductive. Total life cycle costs (LCA) are significantly lower.

Is FiberoX® certified for use in construction?

Yes, FiberoX® holds the TSÚS SK04-ZSV-3449 certificate for use in concrete structures. Our production is certified according to ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environmental management), and ISO 45001 (occupational safety). We comply with ASTM D7957/D8505, ACI 332/440.11, and Eurocode 2 standards.

What diameters and lengths of rebars do you offer?

We offer rebars in diameters from 4–16 mm. We supply them either as standard bars or in 50 m coils (for diameters 4–12 mm). Bars are cut to length to the nearest centimeter directly at our factory. Monthly production capacity is nearly 400,000 m depending on diameter.

How does FiberoX® withstand high temperatures and fire?

FiberoX® retains 65% of its strength even at 330°C. Compared to steel, which loses strength and deforms at high temperatures, composite reinforcement offers better fire resistance in critical situations. For applications with high fire resistance requirements, we recommend consulting with our specialists.

What applications is FiberoX® best suited for?

FiberoX® excels in corrosion-prone environments: bridge structures, road panels, tunnels, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, chemical storage, coastal structures. It is also ideal for buildings requiring electromagnetic neutrality (MRI and X-ray rooms, laboratories) and thermal insulation (eliminating thermal bridges in balconies and facades).

What is the difference between FiberoX® meshes and woven meshes?

Our meshes have a continuous, uninterrupted structure in both X and Y axes, ensuring full structural functionality. Woven meshes with interlacing have disrupted fiber continuity at crossing points, which reduces their load-bearing capacity. Woven meshes are prohibited for structural applications. FiberoX® meshes are 100% certified and recyclable.

What is the carbon footprint of FiberoX® products?

The carbon footprint of FiberoX® products is only 0.11 kg CO₂/kg (according to EUCIA Eco Report 2024). Compared to steel reinforcement (1.5–2 kg CO₂/kg), using FiberoX® represents a significant reduction in your project's carbon footprint. We use exclusively European certified raw materials and our products are fully recyclable.

Do you provide technical support for structural design?

Yes, we provide free consultations and structural engineering advice for designers and construction companies. We help with reinforcement dimensioning, optimization of structural details, and application of solutions in accordance with applicable standards. Our production facility is open to clients – we invite you for a tour.

How is FiberoX® processed on site?

FiberoX® is easily cut with common tools (angle grinder, circular saw). Thanks to its low weight (4× lighter than steel), handling on site is significantly easier and faster. Rebars are not spliced – work is waste-free. A single standard truck can transport up to 80,000 m of FiberoX® composite reinforcement.
